WELedit

NC code management for the 5 CNC lathe and F1 mills (including WoodWorker).
(Note: not for the 5PC lathe or for machines upgraded with WELturn or WELmill.)

This is the full program for code creation and editing but this demonstration version does not allow communication with the machine tool.

The installation program enables WELedit to be configured for any of: the 5 CNC lathes (Marks 2 and 4) and the F1 Mill (including Woodworker).

WELedit runs on all versions of Windows.

Download and run WELeditSetup.exe (this is 32 bit installer for a 16 bit program). The installation includes an uninstaller.

WELturn

PC control for the 5 CNC and 5 PC lathe

This is the full program but, without the hardware upgrade, may be used only in offline simulation mode. It can simulate the Emco 5 PC lathe as well as the Emco 5 CNC lathe (with or without auto change tool turret). WELturn is compatible with Windows 9x, and ME. It may also be run on Windows NT, 2000 or XP but the Help file will not be accessible from the Help menu and must be started independently from Windows Explorer.

Please note that the full version (including the hardware upgrade) has a number of additional support files not supplied with this demonstration version. They include an extensive tutorial "Machining with WELturn", post processors for code generating software, more sample code files, etc.

WELmill

PC control for the F1 Mill and Woodworker

This is the full program but, without the hardware upgrade, may be used only in offline simulation mode.

Please note that the full version (including the hardware upgrade) has a number of additional support files that are not supplied with this demonstration version. They include an extensive tutorial "Machining with WELmill", post processors, more sample code files, etc. as well as support for the woodworker version.

The download is provided in two parts. The first part provides the support files for Visual Basic. You do not need to download this file if your PC already has support for Visual Basic 6. You can check for this by looking for file Msvbvm60.dll in your System folder.

WELplot

G-code creation from HPGL files

This is the full program although the unregistered version does not save the G-code file. However, it does display a portion of the output for you to review.

WELplot is compatible with Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.

The download is provided in two parts. The first part provides the support files for Visual Basic. You do not need to download this file if your PC already has support for Visual Basic 6. You can check for this by looking for file Msvbvm60.dll in your System folder.
