In C:\WELturn\WELturn Allsorts\Tailstock Things there is a drawing of the Emco Tailstock Centre. The drawing is in two formats: .atd and .dxf. See Fig 1.

In AlphaCAM, using either File - Insert (for the.atd file) or File - Import CAD (for the .dxf drawing), the outline of the tailstock centre can be brought into an AlphaCAM drawing. When toolpaths are being set, you have an immediate visual check that the tool will not foul the tailstock or the tailstock centre.

                    

Also in C:\WELturn\WELturn Allsorts\Tailstock Things there is a file (also in .atd and .dxf formats) called Tailstock Example which illustrates the use of the tailstock centre drawing. See Fig 2
