CAD/CAM Initiative for Schools

Since September 2000, the UK National Curriculum in Design and Technology has specified that pupils in secondary schools, from Key Stage 3 onwards, shall use CAD/CAM to design and make products. See www.nc.uk.net

The schools CAD/CAM initiative was launched to provide schools with good quality software and teachers with training so that this National Curriculum requirement can be satisfied. The initiative is now also available to schools outside the UK but excluding North America. Full details can be found on www.cadinschools.org
