The designs for these three items (straight chair, football rattle and frog) were created in TechSoft UK Ltd's Design Tools - 2D Design software and are available on their CD-R "Designs to Inspire and Make" (see www.techsoftuk.co.uk). HPGL plot files were exported from Design Tools - 2D Design and imported into WELplot. Here, tools were selected, cutting parameters set and NC code saved in the WELmill format. The items were then manufactured on an Emco F1 mill fitted with the WELmill controller.
